Parking the Avant seeding rail with 1 distributor head separately

REQUIREMENTS

  • The tractor and machine are secured

  • Firm and level hall floor

  1. To set the coulter pressure to 0:

    Adjusting the coulter pressure hydraulically.

  2. To set the placement depth on the TwinTeC coulter to 0:

    Adjusting the scraper on the TwinTeC coulter
  3. Lift and fold the soil tillage machine with the coupled Avant seeding rail.
  4. Slide the inner parking supports 1 in the holder 3 on both sides.
  5. Secure the parking supports with pins 2.

Depending on the machine equipment, the parking supports can vary between the RoTeC coulters 1 and TwinTeC coulters 2.

  1. Unfold the soil tillage machine with the coupled Avant seeding rail.
  1. Install the outer parking supports 1 on the Avant seeding rail 2 on both sides.
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to falling
When working on the seeding combination, the rollers can rotate freely when the implement is lifted.
Ensure you are in a stable position.
Do not step on the rollers.

  1. To ensure safe access via the soil tillage machine 1:

    Clean the soil tillage machine with the coupled Avant seeding rail.
  1. Disconnect the green hydraulic connector of the soil tillage machine 2 from the Comfort hydraulic system of the Avant seeding rail 1.
  1. Disconnect the lighting cable of the Avant seeding rail 1 from the soil tillage machine.
  2. Uncouple the red T pressureless return flow of the Avant seeding rail 2 from the soil tillage machine.

  3. If the Avant seeding rail has a tramline marker:

    Uncouple the yellow 2 tractor control unit of the Avant seeding rail from the soil tillage machine 3.
  4. Disconnect the signal line 4 for the rotary cultivator monitoring.

  5. Open the holder 5 for the supply lines.
  6. Remove the supply line to the interface of the hose package 6 .

  1. Remove the nuts and washers 2.

  2. Remove the bolts and washers 1.

  1. Remove the nuts and washers 2.

  2. Remove the stirrup bolt 1.

  1. Remove the nuts and washers 1.

  2. Remove the bolts and washers 2.

  3. Repeat the procedure on the opposite side.

  1. Install the crossbar 1 on the Avant seeding rail 2.

  2. Install the bolts and washers 3.

  1. Align the mounting bracket 4 centred relative to the conveyor section 6.

  2. Install the U-bolts 1.

  3. Install the bolts and washers 5 loosely.

  4. Turn the top link 2 to the shortest length.

  5. Install the top link on the mounting bracket with the pin 3.

  1. Install the swivel device 1 on the mounting bracket.

  2. Install the linch pin 3.

  3. Install the top link with the pin 2 on the swivel device.

  1. To swivel the swivel device towards the distributor head holder:

    Extend the top link 1.

  2. Install the bolts on the distributor head holder 2.
IMPORTANT
Implement damage due to overload
The roller frame is rigidly connected to the soil tillage machine through the fixed connection between the distributor head with the Avant seeding rail and the soil tillage implement.

Do not lower the seeding combination any further.

  1. Tighten the bolts 2.

  1. Remove the linch pin 1.

  2. Open the hose holder 2.

  3. Remove the hose 3 from the soil tillage machine.

  1. To relieve the pin:

    Set the top link 2 to the desired length.

  2. Remove the pin 1 and top link.

  1. To relieve the locking brackets 3:

    Set the top link 1 to the desired length.

  2. Remove the linch pins 2 from the locking brackets.

  1. Fasten the locking brackets 2 in parking position with the linch pins 1.

  1. To swivel the distributor head holder out of the catching sockets 2:

    Shorten the top link 1.
WARNING
Risk of injury due to implement tipping over.
Park the implement on stable and even ground.

  1. To place the Avant seeding rail on the parking supports 1:

    Slowly lower the soil tillage machine.

The roller frames are released from the coupling hooks 2.
