Coupling the Avant seeding rail with 1 distributor head

REQUIREMENTS

  • The tractor and machine are secured

  • Firm and level hall floor

CAUTION
Risk of injury due to falling
When working on the seeding combination, the rollers can rotate freely when the implement is lifted.
Ensure you are in a stable position.
Do not step on the rollers.

  1. To ensure safe access via the soil tillage machine 1:

    Clean the soil tillage machine.

  1. To be able to swivel the distributor head holder 2 into the catching sockets 1:

    Drive the tractor with the coupled soil tillage machine towards the centre of the distributor head holder.
  1. Slowly lift the soil tillage machine.

The brackets 2 latch into the roller frame.

The parking supports 1 are lifted from the ground.

  1. Install the bolts 1.
  2. Install the nuts and washers 2.

  1. Install the U-bolt 1.
  2. Install the nuts and washers 2.
  1. Install the bolts 1.
  2. Install the nuts and washers 2.

  3. Repeat the procedure on the opposite side.

The Avant seeding rails are connected to the roller frame.

  1. To swivel the distributor head holder into the catching sockets 2:

    Extend the top link 1.

  1. Fasten the distributor head holder 2 with the locking brackets from the parking position.

  2. Secure the locking brackets with the linch pins 1.
  1. Set the top link 2 to the desired length.

  2. Install the top link with the pins 1.
IMPORTANT
Implement damage due to overload
The roller frame is rigidly connected to the soil tillage machine through the fixed connection between the distributor head with the Avant seeding rail and the soil tillage implement.

Do not lower the seeding combination any further.

  1. Place the hose 3 in the hose holder 2.

  2. Install the linch pin 1.

  1. Remove the bolts on the distributor head holder 2.

  2. To swivel the swivel device away from the distributor head holder:

    Set the top link 1 to the shortest length.

  1. Remove the pin 2. Swivel down the top link 3.

  2. Remove the linch pin 4.

  3. Remove the swivel device.

  1. Remove the pin 3 and top link 2.

  2. Remove the bolts and washers 5.

  3. Remove the U-bolts 1.

  4. Remove the mounting bracket 4.

  1. Remove the bolts and washers 3.

  2. Remove the crossbar 1 from the Avant seeding rail 2.
  1. Connect the green hydraulic connector of the soil tillage machine 2 to the Comfort hydraulic system of the Avant seeding rail 1.

The lighting cable marked in green is for the right-hand lighting and the lighting cable marked in yellow is for the left-hand lighting.

  1. Connect the lighting cable of the Avant seeding rail 1 to the soil tillage machine.
  2. Couple the red T pressureless return flow of the Avant seeding rail 2 onto the soil tillage machine.

  3. If the Avant seeding rail has a tramline marker:

    Couple the yellow 2 tractor control unit of the Avant seeding rail onto the soil tillage machine 3.
  1. Connect the signal cable of the Avant seeding rail 1 to the soil tillage machine.
  1. Lift the soil tillage machine with the coupled Avant seeding rail.
WARNING
Risk of accident due to parking supports falling down

To prevent the parking supports from falling out of the mount while driving:

Remove the parking supports.
  1. Remove the outer parking supports 1 from the Avant seeding rail 2 on both sides.
  1. Fold the soil tillage machine with the coupled Avant seeding rail.
  2. Loosen the pin 2.
  3. Pull the inner parking supports 1 out of the holder 3 on both sides.
  4. Unfold the soil tillage machine with the coupled Avant seeding rail.
  5. Park the soil tillage machine with the coupled Avant seeding rail on a level surface.
