Starting a recording

When the recording has been started and the part-width sections are switched on, the AmaTron 4 saves the position data of the worked area. Worked areas are shown in green in the map view.

NOTE

The Section Control orientation aid is available in the AMAZONE Download Center in order to optimise part-width section control.

The recordings include the following data:

Worked area
Field boundaries
Obstacles
Headlands
Track lines

REQUIREMENTS

License available for GPS switch basic or GPS switch pro
ISOBUS is configured, Configuring ISOBUS
GPS signal available
The correct tractor is selected, Selecting the tractor
The correct implement is selected, Selecting implements
The overlap is set, Overlap, setting

For automatic part-width section control:

The implement is configured in the ISOBUS software for automatic part-width section control

When the connected implement supports automatic part-width section control,
select in the Work menu

When the part-width sections of the connected implement are switched manually,

select in the Work menu.

NOTE

Without a GPS correction signal, the received GPS signal is corrected by a software. It can take up to 5 minutes for the corrected GPS signal to be available.

If no corrected GPS signal is available, the worked area will be shown in yellow in the map view. When a corrected GPS signal is available, the worked area will be shown in green.

The following table shows an overview of the part-width section status and the corresponding colours of the part-width sections in the implement symbol.

NOTE

If the part-width sections of the implement are switched manually, a switching recommendation is given through the colours of the part-width sections in the implement symbol.
