Configuring ISOBUS

To operate multiple control terminals on the ISOBUS and be able to use the AUX-N input device, the ISOBUS must be configured.

Each ISOBUS control terminal has a clear identification number for the Universal Terminal and the Task Controller, the UT number and the TC number, respectively. The machine controls are shown on the Universal Terminal. The Task Controller manages the job documentation for the machine.

If the Universal Terminal or the Task Controller do not need to be executed on the AmaTron 4, the Universal Terminal or the Task Controller can be deactivated.

AUX-N input devices can only be configured on the control terminal with the UT number 1.

If the AmaTron 4 is the only connected control terminal, the implement automatically adopts the UT number and TC number of the AmaTron 4.

If other control terminals are connected in addition to the AmaTron 4, the following applies:

  • If control terminals with the same UT number or TC number are connected, the AmaTron 4 automatically selects a free UT number and TC number. In this case, a message is shown.

  • For the implement controls and the job documentation to be executed on the desired control terminal, the UT number and the TC number must be configured in the implement controls.

  • The connected implement selects the control terminal with the UT number and TC number that was last configured for the implement.

  1. In the Setup menu, select ISOBUS.
  1. If the machine controls on the AmaTron 4 should be used:

    activate the UT.
  2. If the connected AUX-N input device should be configured through the AmaTron 4:

    select 1 under UT number.
  3. If the machine controls should be displayed on the AmaTron 4:

change the UT number to the UT number of the AmaTron 4 in the implement controls.
  4. If the job documentation on the AmaTron 4 should be used:

    activate the TC.
  5. If the job documentation and the automatic part-width section control of the connected machine should be used on the AmaTron 4:

change the TC number to the TC number of the AmaTron 4 in the implement controls.
    TROUBLESHOOTING

Are the implement controls, the job documentation or the AUX-N configuration not being displayed on the desired control terminal?

    • Check the UT numbers and TC numbers of the control terminal and the connected implement to see if they match.

    • Switch off the ignition.

    • Restart all control terminals.

    • Switch on the ignition.

    • Check the UT numbers and TC numbers again.
