Configuring ISOBUS implements

Connected ISOBUS implements are automatically created and the implement data is loaded. The implement data can only be changed through the Universal Terminal in the implement controls. For correct representation in the map view, the implement modelling must be specified.

The specifications depend on the following factors:

  • Whether the connected implement is coupled at the front or rear of the tractor.

  • Whether the GPS receiver is installed on the tractor or on the implement.

  • Whether the connected implement is mounted, trailed or is self-propelled.

  • Number of booms

REQUIREMENTS

  • The ISOBUS implement is connected

  1. In the Main menu, select .
  1. Select the connected implement under Implements.

For some front-mounted implements, the tractor length is added to the distance from the coupling point to the application point. For these front-mounted implements, Rear must be selected under Coupling point.

  1. Under Coupling point, select the correct coupling point.

If the Front coupling point is selected, the GPS receiver on the implement and Implement modelling options are deactivated.

  1. If the GPS receiver is installed on the implement:

    activate GPS receiver on implement.
  2. If the connected implement is mounted or is self-propelled:

    Select Mounted under Implement modelling

or

If the connected implement is towed:

Select Trailed under Implement modelling.

The implement geometry includes the following values:

  • X1: Distance between the coupling point and the application point

  • X2, for implements with a second boom: Distance between the coupling point and the second application point

  • A, on towed implements: Distance between the coupling point and the rear axle

  • B: Longitudinal offset of the GPS receiver relative to the coupling point

  • C: Transverse offset of the GPS receiver relative to the coupling point in the direction of travel. Positive value for a transverse offset to the right of the coupling point, negative value for a transverse offset to the left of the coupling point.

  1. To check the geometry values:

    remeasure the geometry values on the implement.
  2. Select Implement geometry.
  3. If the GPS receiver is installed on the implement:

    Enter the values for B and C.
