Visualising the switch-on and -off times

When the part-width sections are switched on, it takes a few hundred milliseconds until the setpoint receiver converts the signal. This switch-on delay can cause unworked areas. When the part-width sections are switched off, it also takes several hundred milliseconds until the setpoint receiver converts the signal. This switch-off delay can cause overlaps in working the field.

The AmaTron 4 calculates the correct switch point according to the working speed, to prevent unworked areas or overlaps. For correct calculation of the switch point, the working speed must be kept constant during the switch-on and switch-off times. To support the driver with this, the switch point can be shown as a white line 1 in front of the part-width sections.
