Adjusting the harrow angle

IMPORTANT
Damage to the coulter harrow due to incorrectly inserted pin
If the pin is inserted incorrectly, the coulter harrow 1 can buckle or bend into the adjacent coulters.
In operation, leave the pin 2 in the position shown.
Insert the pin 3 such that the coulter harrow can deflect in the direction indicated by the arrow.
  1. Lift out the implement.

  2. For a harrow tine 5 work angle of 40 degrees:

    Mount the pin in position 1

or

For a harrow tine work angle of 50 degrees:

Mount the pin in position 2

or

For a harrow tine work angle of 60 degrees:

Mount the pin in position 3

or

For a harrow tine work angle of 70 degrees:

Mount the pin in position 4.

  1. To check the adjustment:

    Sow 98,43 ft (30m) at working speed and check the work pattern.
