Hydraulic adjustment of the exact following harrow pressure
The exact following harrow must cover all of the seed rows uniformly with soil. For heavy soils, the pressure must be greater than it is for light soils. The minimum exact following harrow pressure and the maximum exact following harrow pressure can be limited by inserting linch pins.
The harrow pressure is hydraulically adjusted together with the coulter pressure. With greater coulter pressure, a greater exact following harrow pressure is also set at the same time.
To offload the linch pin 3:
Activate the tractor control unit green 1.
The lower the pegging position, the lower the minimum exact following harrow pressure will be.
To determine the minimum harrow pressure:
Dismount the linch pin. Mount it in the desired bore under the stop 1.To offload the linch pin 2:
Activate the tractor control unit green 2.
The higher the pegging position, the greater the maximum harrow pressure.
To set the maximum exact following harrow pressure:
Dismount the linch pin. Mount it in the desired hole above the stop.To check the adjustment:
Sow 98,43 ft (30m) at working speed. Check the work pattern.
