Checking the blades of the cutter roller

Interval

  • Drain 1000 operating hours

    or

    Every 12 months

Test criteria:

  • Wear limit: 0,39 in (10mm) meters above the mounting bracket

  • Blade edge is damaged

  1. Put on work gloves.
  2. Slightly lift the implement.
  3. Check the length of the blade on the cutting roller.

  4. If the wear limit is exceeded:

    Unscrew the threaded fitting on the blade.
  5. Turn the blade

or

Replace the blade.

  1. Fasten the threaded fitting.
