Turning on the headlands

  1. To prevent lateral loads when driving in curves on the headlands:

    raise the soil tillage tools.

  2. To prevent blockages in the slurry spreader:

    Move the red tractor control unit into float position on the headlands. Then briefly actuate the red/2 tractor control unit and move it back to float position.

Changing the direction of rotation prevents blockages.

  1. When the direction of the implement matches that of the direction of travel:

    lower the soil tillage tools.

  2. To switch the slurry spreader back on after the headlands:

    Actuate the red/1 tractor control unit.
