Checking the cutting ring and cutting blade in the slurry spreader

  1. Use a suitable external ascent.
  2. Open and lock the cover.
  3. Check the cutting ring and cutting blade for wear.
  4. Replace if necessary.
  5. Check the bolts in the cutting ring on the underside of the slurry spreader for tight fit.
  6. Tighten loose bolts.
  7. Check the preload of the cutting blade.

If the rotor can only just be turned by hand, the preload is correctly set.

  1. If the rotor 1 is too tight or too loose:

    Adjust the preload with the hexagonal nut 2.
  2. Close and lock the cover.
