Changing the oil in the spray liquid pumps

WARNING
Health hazard due to accidental contact with crop protection products
Clean the spray liquid circuit of the machine with flushing water.

REQUIREMENTS

  • The machine is cleaned.

  1. Remove the hose connections of the spray liquid pump.
  2. Remove the spray liquid pump.
  3. Remove the cover of the sight glass.

  4. To drain the oil:

    Place a suitable collecting vessel underneath. Turn the spray liquid pump upside down. Turn the drive shaft by hand until the oil has drained out.
NOTE

This procedure is recommended because the oil cannot be completely drained through the drain plug.

  1. Set the spray liquid pump on a level surface.
  2. Turn the drive shaft left and right alternately. While doing so, slowly fill multi-purpose oil that complies with the technical data up to the mark.
  3. Mount the cover of the sight glass.
  4. Install the spray liquid pump.
  5. Install the hose connections for the spray liquid pump pressure-tight.
  6. Check the oil level after one hour of operation.
