Coupling the dual-circuit hydraulic brake system

The hydraulic accumulator of the dual-circuit hydraulic brake system must be filled for the brake function and the emergency brake function.

To fill the hydraulic accumulator:

Before every trip, press and hold the brake pedal on the tractor for 10 seconds.
Never drive when the ABS control lamp is illuminated.
  1. Couple the CL brake line 1.
  2. Couple the SL additional line 2.
  1. Insert the ABS connector 1 into the ABS socket and secure it on the ABS socket with the locking mechanism 2.

If the tractor does not have an ABS socket:

Use the adapter cable to supply power to the brakes via the 12 V tractor socket.

  1. Check whether the ABS control lamp lights up when the ignition is switched on.
  2. If the ABS control lamp does not light up:

    Check the plug connections of the ABS cable.
  3. When the ABS control lamp lights up:

    Start the tractor engine.
  4. Actuate the tractor brake until the ABS control lamp is turned off.
  5. Continue actuating the tractor brake for another 10 seconds.

The required operating pressure builds up in the hydraulic accumulator.

  1. Start driving slowly and test the brakes.
