Calibrating with the ISOBUS terminal or the calibration button
PREREQUISITES
Fan must be switched off
machine must be at a standstill
- In the Field menu, openCalibrate.
- In the Calibrate menu, select the desired hopper.
- Enter the subsequent working speed under Intended speed.
- Enter target rate.
For machines with row-based metering, the metering wheel volume is specified per row.
For machines with central metering units, the metering roller volume is specified for all rows.
- Select the desired metering wheel in the selection menu under Metering wheel
or
Under Metering roller, select the desired metering roller volume
or
In the selection menu above, select ... and enter a user-defined metering wheel volume.
- Continue with .
The calibration type defines how the calibration will be started.
To start calibration with the ISOBUS control terminal:
Under Calibration method select ISOBUS control terminal
or
To start calibration with the calibration button:
Under Calibration type, select Calibration button.- Continue with .
To prepare the machine for calibration:
See the machine operating manual. If the points shown on the display are met:
Continue with .If the ISOBUS control terminal is selected as the calibration type:
Perform the calibration on the ISOBUS control terminal
or
If the calibration button is selected as the calibration type:
Perform the calibration on the machine.
To start calibration:
Press and hold
or
Press and hold the calibration button.
During the calibration procedure, the theoretic spread quantity will be displayed.
For high metering quantities, calibration can be paused to empty the calibration container.
Calibration can be terminated prematurely if the collected quantity suffices for a precise check.
Calibration will end automatically, when an area that is differentiated by the amount of the target rate has been reached.
- Weigh the collected quantity.
- Take the weight of the calibration container into account.
- Enter the weight of the collected quantity.
- Continue with .
The calibration factor will be calculated.
If the displayed percentage of rate deviation is greater than 2%:
Apply the value and repeat the calibration for an optimization with .
or
If the displayed percentage of rate deviation is less than 2%:
Apply the displayed calibration factor with
or
To discard the calibrated values and start a new calibration:
Activate .
