Turning on the headlands

  1. Follow the section "Turning on the headlands" in the instructions for the hoeing machine.

  2. If the sliding frame is controlled by a manual control unit with steering wheel:

    Have the steering person align the hoeing machine centred behind the tractor using the manual control unit.
  3. Lift the hoeing machine over the crops.

With automatic control: The camera system automatically shifts the sliding frame in the centre position.

  1. Turn around.
  2. Drive into the row with the implement lifted.
  3. Manually align the hoeing machine on the rows using the camera terminal

or

Have the steering person align the hoeing machine manually on the rows using the manual control unit.

  1. Lower the implement.
  2. Drive.

With automatic control: The camera system controls the sliding frame.

With manual control: the steering person on the control unit on the hoeing machine controls the sliding frame manually.

  1. If working with automatic control:

    Check whether the camera system is working properly.
