Using the implement

REQUIREMENTS

  • With automatic control using the camera system and manual control with joystick: the camera system is configured and switched on; see camera system operating manual

  • With manual control: the control unit for manual control with joystick or steering wheel on the hoeing machine is configured

  1. Follow the section "Lowering the implement" in the instructions for the hoeing machine.
  2. Align the implement horizontally to the ground.
  3. Lower the implement on the support wheels.
NOTE

For a reliable speed signal, the support wheels must have constant contact with the ground during operation.

  1. Adjust the three-point power lift such that the lower link pendulums of the implement are free in the middle swinging range.
  2. Drive off with the tractor.

With automatic control: The camera system controls the sliding frame.

With manual control: the steering person on the control unit on the hoeing machine controls the sliding frame manually.

  1. If working with automatic control:

    Check whether the camera system is working properly.
