Checking the grain spacing
The application rate determines the required grain spacing. The selection of the singling discs and of the singling disc speed determines the grain spacing.
- Spread seed for 30m at working speed.
- Use the read-off edge of the multi-placement tester to remove the earth in layers.
- Expose 11 grains in one row.
- Place the multi-placement tester horizontally on the ground.
