Establishing the hydraulic supply

REQUIREMENTS

  • The machine is lifted

  • Secure the tractor against unauthorised operation

  • Firm and level hall floor

  • Direct people out of the danger zone

  1. Remove the bolt 2.
  2. Remove the fastener 1.
  3. Open the valve 3.
  4. Repeat the procedure on the opposite side of the machine.
ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION
Danger due to escaping oil
Collect any escaping oil.
Dispose of cleaning agents for removing oil in an environmentally friendly manner.

To be able to integrate the additional installed coulters into the coulter pressure system, open the coulter pressure system on the installed coulters.

  1. Remove the connector 2 from the coulter pressure supply 1.
  1. Remove the caps 2 on the additional installed coulters 1.
  1. Install the coulter pressure supply 2 on the additional installed coulter.
  2. Install the coulter pressure supply 1 of the adjacent coulter.

After conversion from large to small row widths, replace the long hydraulic hoses on the outer rows with short hydraulic hoses.

  1. Disconnect the connection on row 1 1.
  2. Disconnect the connection on row 2 2.
  3. Remove the long hydraulic hoses 3.
  4. Install short hydraulic hoses between the coulters.
  5. Repeat the installation of the hydraulic hoses on the opposite side of the machine.
  1. Disconnect the tension belt 2 from the top link 1 and lower link 3 and remove it.

After installing additional coulters, the hydraulic coulter pressure system must be vented.

  1. · Direct persons out of the danger zone
  2. To set the coulter pressure to zero:

    Refer to the ISOBUS operating manual, Adjusting the coulter pressure.
  3. Switch on the fan at 2.0001/min.
NOTE

Establish the oil supply to the hydraulic unit.

  1. Lift and lower the machine 5 times.
  2. Deactivate the fan.
  3. Secure the tractor and machine.
  4. Close the valve 3.
  5. Install the fastener 1.
  6. Install the bolt 2.
  7. Repeat steps 21 to 23 on the opposite side of the machine.
