Changing the singling disc

REQUIREMENTS

  • The ideal hole diameter is known

  1. Secure the tractor and machine.
  2. Open the locks 1.
WARNING
Risk of chemical burns by dressing dust
Before working with hazardous materials, put on the protective clothing recommended by the manufacturer.
  1. Remove the cover 2.
  1. Release the lock until the points 1 and 2 are aligned.
  1. remove the singling disc 1 from the drive hub.

The orange filling block is required for seeding rapeseed, beets or sorghum.

  1. Remove the bolt 4.
  2. Install the orange filling block 3 in the mount 2.
  3. Install the bolt.
  4. For seeding rapeseed, beets or sorghum, remove the cap 1.

The green filling block is required for seeding soy beans, field beans, maize or sunflowers.

  1. Remove the bolt 3.
  2. Install the green filling block 2 in the mount 1.
  3. Install the bolt.
  1. To select the singling disc:

    See Determining the seed settings.

The studs point towards the seed housing and stir the seed to ensure optimal filling of the disc.

  1. Install the desired singling disc.
  2. Turn the lock beyond the notch 2.

The points 1 and 3 are no longer aligned.

  1. The singling disc must rotate freely and the sheath surface may not rub on the seed housing:

Rotate the singling disc by hand.
  1. Press the ejector holder 3 together.
  2. Pull off the ejection wheel 2.

The number on the ejection wheel must be the same as the number on the singling disc 1. Deviating from this, the singling disc for squash requires an ejection wheel for the singling disc with 42 holes.

  1. Install the desired ejection wheel.
NOTE
If the singling unit is converted to rapeseed, beet or sorghum, perform steps 20 to 26.
  1. Clean the opto-sensor, Cleaning the opto-sensor.
  2. Clean the singling unit, Clean the singling unit.

For singling discs 1 with 1mm, 1,3mm and 1,6mm holes, a narrow hole covering roller is required.

  1. Remove the nut 5.
  2. Remove the wide hole covering roller.
  3. Remove the bolt 3.
  4. Install the journal bearing bushings 4 from the wide hole covering roller in the narrow hole covering roller 2.
  5. Install the narrow hole covering roller.
  6. Put on the nut.
  1. Align the guide pin 1.
  2. Close the cover 2.
  1. Close the locks 1.
NOTE
The power consumption of the singling drive is determined at an idle with deactivated fan and without seed.
The power consumption for seeding rapeseed, beets or sorghum is between 0.9 A and 1.2 A.
The power consumption for seeding coarse seed types is between 0.6 A and 1 A.
  1. To adjust the distance from the singling disc to the singling unit housing:

Check the disc adjustment, Checking the disc setting.
