Checking and cleaning the distributor head

REQUIREMENTS

  • The tractor and implement are secured

  • Firm and level hall floor

  • Supply lines are disconnected from the front hopper

  1. To safely reach the distributor head:

    Use a suitable external ascent.
  2. Loosen the knurled screws 1.
  3. Remove the cover 2.

  1. To remove the deposits:

    Aim a water jet into the outlets 5 and into the corrugated tube.

  2. To check the flaps for ease of movement:

    Move the lever back and forth 2.

If the motor unit 3 or the connecting rod 4 are defective, the flaps can be fixed in the open or closed position with the bolt 1.

  1. Check the connecting rod and motor unit for damage.
  2. Install the cover.
  3. Tighten the knurled screws.
