Adjusting the singling pressure with the tractor control unit
REQUIREMENTS
The seed hoppers are filled
The machine is unfolded
The fertiliser fan is switched off
Seed | Singling pressure |
|---|---|
Beets, rapeseed, sorghum or sunflower | 35mbar ±5mbar |
Maize, soya or field beans | 45mbar ±5mbar |
Read the setting values from the table.
- Open the throttle 1 counterclockwise up to the stop.
To switch on the singling fan:
Switch on the red 1 tractor control unit.To warm up the hydraulic oil for optimal regulation of the hydraulic system:
Run the fan for about 5 minutes at 3.5001/min.
To fill the singling discs with seed grains:
In the Work menu, select .To correct the singling pressure:
Adjust the oil quantity on the tractor control unit.
The singling pressure is shown on the control terminal.
If the pressure gauge 2 indicates a pressure greater than 150bar:
Maintain the setting of the throttle
or
If the pressure gauge indicates a pressure lower than 150bar:
Close the throttle clockwise until the pressure gauge shows a pressure of 150bar to 160bar.
When the throttle is closed:
Readjust the singling pressure. When the singling pressure was readjusted:
Correct the throttle adjustment. To monitor the fan:
Refer to Configuring the fan speed monitoring in the ISOBUS operating manualThe values in the table are reference values:
Check the grain placement after driving a short distance.
