Repositioning the fill level sensor

The fill level sensor must be attached at the suitable height, depending on the spreading material and the spread rate.

  • Grains and legumes: attach the fill level sensor in the upper holder or middle holder, depending on the spread rate.

  • Fine seed: attach the fill level sensor in the lower holder (factory setting).

  • Fertiliser: attach the fill level sensor in the upper or lower holder, depending on the spread rate.

  • Lower seed rates: at lower seed rates, the low level sensor of the metering unit can be used to receive notifications regarding low levels in the hopper at a later time.

NOTE
Reposition the fill level sensor only when the hopper is empty. Otherwise, the flow of spreading material prevents the attachment of the fill level sensor.
  1. If low spread rates should be metered:

Insert the fill level sensor in the lower mount 1.
  1. If high spread rates should be metered:

Insert the fill level sensor in one of the upper mounts 1.
NOTE

As soon as the fill level sensor is no longer covered, a warning message appears on the control terminal or control computer.

When the fill level sensor is inserted in the lower mount, the warning message appears very late.

  1. Make sure that the hopper is empty.
  2. Loosen the nuts on both sensor mounts 2.
  3. Pull the fill level sensor 3 out of the fill level sensor mount 1.
  4. Pull the sealing plug out of another fill level sensor mount.
  5. Insert the fill level sensor flush with the sensor mount in the desired fill level sensor mount.
  6. Insert the sealing plug in the empty fill level sensor mount.
  7. Tighten the nuts on both sensor mounts.
