Adjusting the working depth of the spring-suspended wheel mark eradicators

IMPORTANT
Increased wear of the wheel mark eradicator holder

If the overload safety device is triggered at short intervals:

Reduce the working depth.
Change to a wheel mark eradicator coulter that is easy to pull.
  1. Lift the machine.
  2. Remove the linch pins 2.
  3. Hold the wheel mark eradicator on the recessed grip 1.
  4. Remove the locking pins 3.

The maximum working depth is 5,91 in (150mm).

  1. Bring the wheel mark eradicator into the desired position.
  2. Peg the wheel mark eradicator in position with the locking pin.
  3. Secure the locking pin with the linch pin.

  4. Use the same setting for all wheel mark eradicators.

  5. To check the adjustment:

    Drive 98,43 ft (30m) at working speed. Check the work pattern.
