Changing the singling disk
PREREQUISITES
Optimal bore diameter is known
- Secure tractor and machine.
- Open the catches 1.
WARNING
- Take off the cover 2.
- Release the catch until the points 1 and 2 are aligned.
- Take the singling disk 1 off of the drive hub.
To select the singling disk:
See Determining the seed settings.
The studs point toward the seed housing and agitate the seed for optimal population.
- Install the desired singling disk.
- Turn the catch beyond the notch 2.
Points 1 and 3 are no longer aligned.

- Pull off the ejector wheel 2.
The number on the ejector wheel must be the same as the number on the singling disk 1. Deviating from the above, the singling disk for squash requires an ejector wheel for the singling disk with 42 bores.
- Install the desired ejector wheel.
NOTE
- Clean the opto-sensor, Cleaning the opto-sensor.
- Clean the singling unit, Cleaning the singling unit.
For singling disks 1 with 0,04 in (1mm), 0,05 in (1,3mm), and 0,06 in (1,6mm), bores a narrow bore covering roller is required.
- Dismount nut 5.
- Remove the wide bore covering roller.
Remove the bolt 3.
Mount the journal bearing bush 4 from the wide bore covering roller into the narrow bore covering roller 2.
