Filling the fertilizer hopper via the loading board

NOTE
The guard screen and function screen in the fertilizer hopper are closed. Only a closed guard and function screen can prevent clumps of fertilizer and/or foreign objects from entering the fertilizer hopper and clogging the metering unit.

PREREQUISITES

  • Implement is coupled on the tractor

  • Tractor and implement are secured

  • The transport vehicle with the fertilizer supply is on a level surface

  1. Switch on the interior lighting of the hopper when working at night.

  2. Depending on the implement equipment,

    Climbing onto the loading board via the steps

or

Unfold the ladder and climb onto the loading board via the steps.

  1. Open the rubber straps 1.
  2. Open the fertilizer hopper tarpaulin 2.
  3. Remove residues or foreign objects from the fertilizer hopper.
  4. Fill the fertilizer hopper.
  5. Close the fertilizer hopper tarpaulin with the pull rope 3.
  6. Secure the fertilizer hopper tarpaulin with rubber straps.
  7. Fold the ladder.
