Filling the seed hopper

PREREQUISITES

  • Implement is coupled on the tractor

  • Tractor and implement are secured

  • The seed and seed hopper are free of foreign objects

  • The seed is dry and does not stick

IMPORTANT
Hopper cover damage caused by personnel walking on it
If the hopper cover is damaged, the hopper will leak. Metering will be faulty.
Do not step on the hopper cover.
  1. Open the fastener 2.

  2. To offload the closure:

    Press the hopper cover 3 downward.
  3. Unlock the 1 catch.
  1. Completely open the hopper cover 1.

The cover fastener 2 engages.

WARNING
Risk of chemical burns due to dressing dust
Before working with hazardous materials, put on the protective clothing recommended by the manufacturer.
  1. Fill the seed hopper.
  1. Clean the cover seal and the sealing surface 2.
  2. Close the hopper cover 1.

The catch 3 is locked.

  1. Close the fastener 4.
