Adjusting the disk closer

The disk closers are used on plowed or mulched soils. They cover the seed furrow with fine soil. The closer pressure can be adjusted.

  1. Lift out the implement.
  2. Secure tractor and implement.
  3. Unlock the adjustment lever 1.

  4. On heavy soils:

    Increasing the closer pressure towards F

or

On light soils:

Reduce the closer pressure towards B.

  1. Make the same adjustment for all disk closers

or

Move the closer pressure in the tracks into the desired position

  1. To park the implement:

    Bring the disk closers on all rows into the position A.
  2. Lock the adjustment lever in the grid.

  3. To check the adjustment:

    Drive for 98,43 ft (30m) at working speed and then check the work pattern.
