Executing the calculation

PREREQUISITES

  • The fertilizer hopper is at least 1/4 full of fertilizer

  1. Switch off the fan.
  2. Release the fastener 2. Swing downward.
  3. To take the calibration containers out of parking position on machines with hydraulic fan drive:

    Pull out the calibration containers 1 (which are hooked into each other) to the side.

or

To take the calibration containers out of parking position on machines with mechanical fan drive:

Pull out the calibration containers individually to the side on the left and right.
  1. To bring the calibration containers into calibration position on machines with hydraulic fan drive:

    Slide the calibration containers 2 under the metering units with the opening facing up.
  2. Hook in the calibration containers 1 with the opening facing up. Under the metering units.

or

To bring the calibration containers into calibration position on machines with mechanical fan drive:

Slide the calibration containers individually under the metering units from left to right.
  1. To bring the calibration flap lever into the calibration position:

    Press and hold the arrest knob 1. Slide downward.
  2. To fill the fertilizer metering units:

    Press the calibration button 2 for 10 seconds.
  3. Empty the calibration container.
  4. To calibrate the application rate for the fertilizer:

    See the ISOBUS software operating manual, Calibrating the application rate for fertilizer or micro-granules.
  1. Fill fertilizer from the calibration containers into the collapsible bucket 2.
  2. Hook the collapsible bucket with the scale 3 onto the weighing point 1.
  3. Enter the determined value on the control terminal.
  4. To enter the application rate in the control terminal:

NOTE

Monitor the fill level to ensure that the calibration containers do not overflow.

  1. Empty the calibration container.
  2. To prevent contamination of the calibration containers:

    Slide the calibration containers 1 under the metering units with the opening facing down.
  3. Swing up the lock 2 and close it.
  4. To bring the calibration flap lever into working position:

    Press and hold the arrest knob. Slide upward.
