Adjusting the placement depth on the leaf-spring guided fertilizer coulter

NOTE
The operating conditions affect the correct setting.
The adjustment of the fertilizer coulter must be adapted to the respective operating conditions. Check the adjustment of the fertilizer coulter on the field after driving a short distance.

The bolt 2 provides orientation on the scale 1.

PREREQUISITES

  • Machine must be on the solid floor of an equipment building.

  1. Lift out the machine.

  2. For row widths less than 27,56 in (70cm)

    Secure the machine.

  3. Keep the fertilizer coulter 1 in the set position.

    Unscrew bolts 2.
  4. Bring the fertilizer coulter into the desired position.

  5. Keep the fertilizer coulter in the desired position.

    Tighten bolts.
  6. Apply the adjustment for all fertilizer coulters.

Bring the fertilizer placement depth in the tracks to the desired position.
