Checking and replacing the inner scrapers on the FerTeC twin coulter

  • Drain 100 operating hours

The inner scrapers ensure smooth coulter running and are subject to wear.

PREREQUISITES

  • Tractor and implement are secured

  1. Remove the dust caps 1.
  2. Unscrew and remove the central bolts 2.
NOTE

The central bolts have different thread:

  • The right central bolt has right-hand thread.

  • The left central bolt has left-hand thread.

  1. Remove the cutting disks 3.
  2. Pay attention to the number of spacer disks 4.
  3. Replace inner scrapers 5 if worn.
  4. Mount the cutting disks.
  5. Fit on and tighten the central bolt.
  6. Mount dust caps.
