Cleaning the opto-sensor

  1. Disconnect the ISOBUS from the tractor.
WARNING
Risk of chemical burns due to dressing dust
Before working with hazardous materials, put on the protective clothing recommended by the manufacturer.
  1. Open the catches 1.
  2. Take off the cover 2.
  1. Release the catch 1 until the points 2 are aligned.
  1. Take the singling disk 1 off of the drive hub.

To clean the opto-sensor, use tap water with dishwashing detergent added.

  1. To remove light contamination:

    Clean the opto-sensor as follows.
  2. Loosen contamination with the provided brush for 1 minute.
  3. Rinse the opto-sensor with water.
  4. Mount the singling disk.
  5. Mount the cover.
  1. To remove stubborn contamination:

    Remove and clean the opto-sensor as follows.
  2. Remove the spring cotter pin 1.
  1. Press the shot channel 3 against the seal 2 in the funnel 1.
  2. Swing the shot channel away from the opto-sensor. Pull it upward.
  1. Remove bolts 1.
  2. Remove spacer plate 2.
  1. Disconnect the plug connection 3.
  2. Move the opto-sensor 1 downward.
  3. Remove the seal 2.
IMPORTANT
Opto-sensor is destroyed due to improper cleaning
Only clean the opto-sensor with the provided brush.
Do not immerse the plug connector in liquids.
  1. Remove the opto-sensor 1.
  2. Soak the opto-sensor for 1 minute.
  3. Clean the opto-sensor with the provided brush.
  4. Rinse the opto-sensor with water.
  1. Insert the opto-sensor 1.
  1. Move the opto-sensor 1 upwards.
  2. Mount seal 2.
  3. Establish the plug connection 3.
  1. Mount the spacer plate 2.
  2. Mount the bolts 1.
  1. Press the shot channel 3 against the seal 2 in the funnel 1.
  2. Swing the shot channel under the opto-sensor.
  1. Mount the shot channel with the spring cotter pin 1.
  2. Establish the ISOBUS connection to the tractor.
  3. Restart the machine.

After the opto-sensors have been cleaned, the opto-sensor intensity must be reset in the software.

NOTE
In the row section as well as in the single row, the opto-sensors in all rows will be reset.
To reset the opto-sensors, all rows must be free of blockage.
  1. In the menu Settings > Info > Diagnostics, select > Rows > Row section > Row.
  2. Activate .
