Cleaning the fertilizer metering unit

PREREQUISITES

  • Implement is coupled on the tractor

  • Fan is switched off

  • Filling auger is switched off

  1. To seal the fertilizer container on the metering unit housing,

    close the sliding shutter 1.
  2. Take the unlocking tool out of the thread pack or the parking position on the fertilizer hopper.

  3. To unlock the metering unit cover,

    insert the unlocking tool 2 into the metering unit cover.
  4. Open the metering unit cover 3 with the unlocking tool.
  5. Remove residues or foreign objects from the metering unit housing.
  6. Close the metering unit cover 3.
  7. Park the unlocking tool in the thread pack or the parking position in the fertilizer hopper.
