Moving the exact following harrow or seed harrow into working position

The roller and the coulters force the soil outwards to different extents depending on the forward speed and the soil properties. The outer harrow elements must guide the loose soil back and produce a trackless seedbed. The greater the forward speed, the further the outer harrow elements have to be set outwards.

  1. Loosen the bolt 2 with the universal operating tool.
CAUTION
Risk of crushing
Slide the exact following harrow carefully to the desired position.
  1. Push the sliding element 1 outwards.
  2. Tighten the bolt 2 with the universal operating tool.
  3. Make the same setting for the other side of the implement.

  4. To check the setting:

    Spread seed for 30m at working speed. Check the work pattern.
