Discharging and cleaning the metering unit

IMPORTANT
Risk of damage to the metering drive due to swelling fertilizer or germinating seed.
Empty the metering unit after operation.
Clean the metering unit after operation.
  1. Switch off the fan.

  2. If a residual quantity is in the hopper:

    Close the sliding shutter.
  3. Activate the calibration conveyor section.
  4. Open the calibration flap.
  5. Bring the calibration container into collection position.

  6. To empty the metering unit and the metering roller:

    Press the Calibration button for 10 seconds.

Activating pre-metering for the metering unit

Activate hopper discharge.

  1. Unscrew the bolts with the wrench 1.
  2. Park the wrench in the holder 3.
  3. Turn the bearing cover 2.
  1. Pull off the bearing cover 1.
  2. Pull the metering roller 2 out of the metering unit.
  3. Clean the metering unit housing and metering roller.
  4. Mount the metering unit.
  1. Align the catch 3 on the bearing cover to the drive shaft 2.
  2. Mount the bearing cover.
  3. Tighten bolts with the wrench 1.
  4. Park the wrench in the holder 4.
  5. Activate the desired conveyor section.
  6. Discharge the calibration container.
  7. Place the calibration container in the stowage compartment.
  8. Close the calibration flap.

  9. If the implement has additional containers:

    Use the same procedure to empty and clean the metering units.
