Adjusting the corrugated cutting disk

The corrugated cutting disks shred plant residues and clear the area of the seeding coulter. This enables the seeding unit to run smoothly on soils with coarse surface structures.

  1. Lift out the implement.
  2. Secure tractor and implement.
  3. Remove nut and washer 1.
  4. Remove the bolt 6.
  5. Unscrew the nut 2.
  6. Bring the holder 5 into the desired height.
  7. Mount bolt.
  8. Mount and tighten nuts and washers.

If the adjustment range is insufficient, mount the cutting disk 4 at the desired height on the holder.

  1. Remove nuts and washers 3.
  2. Mount the cutting disk at the desired height on the holder.
  3. Mount nut and washer.

  4. To check the adjustment:

    Drive 98,43 ft (30m) at working speed. Check the work pattern.
