Metering unit

A metering unit is mounted under each hopper chamber. The metering roller is electrically driven and is interchangeable. The spreading material drops into the sluice and is conveyed by the air current to the spreading point.

As soon as the implement is lifted for turning at the end of a field, Section Control detects the field boundary, the electric motor switches off, and the metering roller comes to a standstill.
