Adjusting the lateral distance of the hoe protection discs HSZ

The hoe protection discs must be adjusted as follows:

  • During hoeing operation, each hoe protection disc should run at a distance of 1 cm A from the end of the blade of the outermost hoe share.

  • During hoeing operation, each hoe protection disc should run at a distance of 4 cm B from the crop plant row.

  1. Lower the implement on the field with the three-point power lift.
  1. Loosen the bolt 1 for the hoe protection disc carrier 2.
  1. Move the hoe protection disc 2 inwards or outwards in the share bracket 1 on the tool carrier until the hoe protection disc is in the right position.
  2. Tighten the bolt for the hoe protection disc carrier.
  3. If the sliding path is not sufficient for the required position of the hoe protection disc:

    Loosen the bolt for the hoe protection disc carrier.
  4. Move the hoe protection disc inwards or outwards on the tool carrier up to the stop.
  5. Tighten the bolt for the hoe protection disc carrier.
  1. Loosen the bolts 2 on the tool carrier 4.
  2. Move the hoe protection disc 1 with the tool carrier inwards or outwards in the share bracket 3 until the hoe protection disc is in the right position.
  3. Tighten the bolts on the tool carrier.
  4. If one hoe share is installed on the tool carrier:

    Move the hoe share on the shifted tool carrier to the previous position, Adjusting the hoeing width.
  5. Adjust the lateral distance for all of the hoe protection discs in the same way.
