Adjusting the penetration depth of the stabilisation discs

The stabilisation discs must penetrate into the soil as deep as possible. The tension of each spring can be adjusted using a screw so that the stabilisation discs have the correct penetration depth.

If the frame height changed to the point that the setting of the correct depth can no longer be achieved via the spring tension, each stabilisation disc together with the holder and spring as a whole must be moved up or down on the adjustment joint.

IMPORTANT
Risk of implement damage
Do not allow the hubs of the stabilisation discs to sink into the soil.

  1. If the stabilisation discs do not sink far enough into the soil:

    Increase the spring tension on each spring by tightening the nut 1

or

If the stabilisation discs penetrate too deep into the soil:

Reduce the spring tension on each spring by loosening the nut.

  1. If the correct depth adjustment of the stabilisation discs can no longer be achieved with the spring tension:

    Install each stabilisation disc along with the holder and spring 1 higher or lower on the adjustment joint 2.
