The adjacent field is an area used for agricultural purposes. Minimal amounts of fertilizer fall across the boundary. The fertilizer rate on the field edge is close to the target rate.

On the field boundary, there is a road, a field path or a field that belongs to someone else. Only minimal quantities of fertilizer fall across the boundary.

On the field boundary there is a body of water or a ditch. Fertilizer must not fall less than one meter before the boundary.

Mounted machines are special equipment parts of the tractor. Mounted machines are always referred to as machines in this operating manual.

Operating materials are used for operational readiness. Operating materials include cleaning agents and lubricants, such as lubricating oil, greases or cleaning products.

The mounted machine and tractor are positioned horizontally on a level surface.

The switch-off point is the position, at which the shutters are closed when driving into headlands, to achieve optimal fertilizer distribution. The switch-off point is measured from the centre of the headland to the spreading disk.

The switch-on point is the position, at which the shutter is opened when driving out of headlands, to achieve optimal fertilizer distribution. The switch-on point is measured from the centre of the headland to the spreading disk.

In this operating manual, the designation tractor is always used, even for other agricultural machines. Machines are mounted on the tractor or towed by the tractor.
