ArgusTwin compensates for the following:

• Irregularities in the fertilizer

• Fertilizer coating on the spreading vanes

To optimize lateral distribution, ArgusTwin uses radar sensors to continuously measure and regulate the fertilizer spreader's throw direction. The actual throw direction is compared with the setpoints. If there are deviations, the position of the delivery system is changed. The target throw direction is either taken from the fertilizer database or determined via the EasyCheck.

The measurement is taken by means of 7 radar sensors on each side of the spreader unit.
