Optimizing lateral distribution with EasyCheck or calibration kit

The spreading properties of the spreading material have a major influence on both lateral distribution and spread rate.

To improve lateral distribution, use EasyCheck to check lateral distribution of the fertilizer by means of photo evaluation and use the recommended settings, EasyCheck.

If EasyCheck cannot be used due to soil conditions, lighting conditions, or lack of photo opportunities, the calibration kit can be used as an alternative to optimize lateral distribution, Calibration kit.

  1. Take collection mats out of the storage compartments of the mud guards.

When using the calibration kit:

Remove the collection tray from the storage compartments of the mudguard and the measuring funnel from the threaded cartridge behind the right mudguard.

Optimize with the calibration kit.

  1. After optimization of lateral distribution, clean the collection mats.
  2. Place 8 mats with the nubs facing each other in each of the two mudguard pockets.
