Installing the universal joint shaft on the implement

NOTE
The tractor symbol on the universal joint shaft identifies the tractor-side connection.
  1. Clean and grease the drive shaft on the implement.
  2. Make sure that the universal joint shaft guard is functional.
  3. Observe the universal joint shaft operating manual.
  1. Pull back the drawing sleeve 1.
  2. Push the universal joint shaft 2 onto the drive shaft until the lock engages.
  1. Put the universal joint shaft into the parking position with the retaining rope 2.
  2. Hook the fastening chain 1 onto the implement.

For implements with the lower drawbar:

  1. Lift the universal joint shaft and hold it tight.
  2. Fold up the support 1.
  3. Put the universal joint shaft down on the support.

The universal joint shaft is in parking position.
