The following values are used to check the belt tension on the respective drive belt.

NOTE
The following smartphone apps are suitable for correctly adjusting the belt tension (status: 2025):

  • ContiDrive Europe

  • EasyTension

For multiple belt drives, all belts must have the same frequency within the tolerance range (± 5 Hz).
WARNING
Risk of injury due to machine parts still running

As long as machine parts are moving:

Keep all protective covers closed.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Machine is switched off

  • The machine is parked on a level surface in a secure area.

  • The machine is secured against rolling away.

  • One of the listed smartphone apps is installed and ready for use.

  1. Loosen the lock nuts 1.
  2. Keep the lock nut for reinstallation.
  3. Open the belt protective cover 2.

Check the drive belt:

  1. Attach all 4 drive belts 1 consecutively with a ring spanner 2 in the represented area.
  2. Read out the frequency value from the smartphone app.

  3. If the read-out value differs from the setpoint:

    Adjust the belt drive, Adjusting the belt drive.
  4. Check all 4 drive belts for damage and wear.
  1. Close the belt protective cover 2.
  2. Screw on the lock nuts 1 and tighten them.

The side cover is closed and secured.
