As long as machine parts are moving:

Keep all protective covers closed.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Machine is switched off.

  • The machine is parked on a level surface in a secure area.

  • The machine is secured against rolling away.

  1. Loosen the lock nuts 1.
  2. Keep the lock nut for reinstallation.
  3. Open the belt protective cover 2.
  1. Remove the lock nut 3.

Depending on the result of the test with the smartphone app, Checking the drive belt, the belt tension must be increased or reduced.

  1. To increase the belt tension:

    Screw in the nut 1 in small increments.

or

To reduce the belt tension:

Screw out the nut 1 in small increments.

  1. Check the drive belt tension, Checking the drive belt.

  2. When the result of the check corresponds to the setpoint:

    Tighten the lock nut 3.
  1. Install the belt protective cover 2.
  2. Close the belt protective cover.
  3. Screw on the lock nuts 1 and tighten them.

The side cover is closed and secured.
