Optimising lateral distribution with EasyCheck or calibration set

The spreading properties of the spreading material have a significant influence on the lateral distribution and spread rate.

To improve lateral distribution, use EasyCheck to check lateral distribution of the fertiliser by means of photo evaluation and use the recommended settings, EasyCheck.

If EasyCheck cannot be used due to soil conditions, lighting conditions, or lack of photo opportunities, the calibration set can be used as an alternative to optimise the lateral distribution, Calibration set.

  1. Take the collection mats from the storage compartments of the dirt traps.

When using the calibration set:

Remove the collection tray from the storage compartments of the dirt traps and the measuring funnel from the threaded cartridge behind the right dirt trap.

Optimise with the calibration set.

  1. After optimising the lateral distribution, clean the collection mats.
  2. Place 8 mats with the nubs facing each other in each of the two mudguard pockets.
