Adjusting the working angle of the skimmers

The working angle of the skimmers can be adjusted depending on how the fitting wedge is mounted.

Adjustment position: +3°, 0° or -3°

  1. Unscrew the lock nut 2.
  2. Unscrew the bolt 1.
  3. Unscrew bolt 3.
  4. Mount the fitting wedge 4 rotated by 180°.

Take out the fitting wedge.

  1. Fasten the fitting wedge with bolt 3.
  2. Tighten the bolt 1.
  3. Secure the bolt with a lock nut.
  4. Unscrew threaded unions 5.
  5. Adapt the horizontal position to the pull-in force of the skimmer.

The skimmer protrudes from the plow body by 1.5 to 0,79 in (2cm).

  1. Tighten threaded unions 5.
