Plow bodies
Plow bodies are selected depending on soil properties and working conditions.
The working width of the plow body is adjustable.
The working width for all of the plow bodies must be adjusted uniformly.
The total of all working widths plus the front furrow width is equal to the working width of the machine.

- Working width of the plow body
The working width is the actual cutting width of a plow body, measured at a 90° angle to the direction of travel.
Front furrow width
The front furrow width is measured from the furrow edge to the landside of the first plow body.
The front furrow width is affected by the following factors:
Inner track width of the tractor
Working width of the plow
Tilt
Working depth
Working width of the plow
The working width of the plow equals the field width that is worked in one pass.
Example: 6-share plow:
Working width = 5x working width of one plow body + front furrow width
