Adjusting the working depth of the disk coulter

PREREQUISITES

  • Implement must be in working position

IMPORTANT
Risk of hub damage due to excessive working depth
Do not allow the hub of the disk coulter to sink into the soil.
  1. Unscrew the threaded union 1 until the gearing 2 is free. At the same time, hold the disk coulter by the bearing journal 3.
  2. Swing the disk coulter up or down.
  3. Retighten the threaded union.
  4. Check to ensure that the gearing is correctly seated.
  5. Adjust both disk coulters to the same working depth.
