Implement does not reach the desired working depth
Soil is too hard.
- Draw transverse furrows at the ends of the field.
Working depth is incorrectly adjusted.
- Adjust the working depth.
Plow bodies are worn.
- Replace plow bodies.
The wrong plow body is used.
- Use an interchangeable tip.
The disk coulter is set too deep.
- Adjust the disk coulter more shallow.
Pitch is set too shallow.
Not possible for all plow bodies
- Park the machine on a level surface in working position.
- Lift the machine out of the working position far enough that the plow bodies are lifted off the ground.
- Unscrew the plow leg bolts 1 on the lower plow body.
- If necessary, use the bolts 2 to set a steeper pitch on the plow bodies.
NOTE
The steeper the angle of the plow body, the better the penetration behavior and both the pulling force requirement and wear will be greater.
- Check to ensure uniform distance of all plow bodies from the plow beam.
- Tighten the plow leg bolts 1 with 427,79 ft-lb (580Nm).
- After turning, set the angle plow bodies on the other side steeper to the same degree.
