Decentralized adjustment of the overload safety

PREREQUISITES

  • The machine must be coupled.

  • The beige hydraulic connection must be coupled.

WARNING
Risk of accident due to the plow bodies falling off
When you depressurize the hydraulic overload safety, the plow bodies fall out of their suspension element.
Select a pre-tension of at least 80 bar for the hydraulic overload safety.
Always keep the hydraulic overload safety pressurized.
  1. Couple the hydraulic unit 1 to the tractor control unit.
  2. Connect the hydraulic unit to the hydraulic accumulator 2 of the hydraulic overload safety.
WARNING
Risk of injury due to components ejected under high pressure
Open the threaded union on the hydraulic accumulator 180°, maximum.
  1. Fit the hand lever onto the hydraulic accumulator.
  2. Open the hydraulic accumulator with the hand lever.

  3. To adjust the tripping force of the hydraulic overload safety for the respective plow body,

    Activate the beige tractor control unit.

Select preload between 80 and 180 bar. Default value: 100 bar

  1. Close the hydraulic accumulator with the hand lever.
  2. Depressurize the hydraulic unit.
  3. Disconnect the hydraulic unit from the hydraulic accumulator.
  4. Repeat this procedure to adjust all hydraulic accumulators of the hydraulic overload safety.
  5. Then fasten the hand lever in parking position with the spring cotter pin.
